Email is easy to send … and ignore. Yes, email is efficient, quick, simple, and can be sent to anyone, anywhere. It’s also very easy to be filtered out and ignored – especially with today’s inboxes. If you really want to meet someone who is of high potential value, then pick-up the phone, propose a Skype/Hangout, send a handwritten note, or ideally arrange a face-to-face meeting. These communication channels are usually far less crowded and more personal, which means that your message will be more memorable – and far more effective than just sending a quick email.
